The Escaldes-Engordany International Jazz Festival was born in 1985 and was sponsored by Tete Montoliu.

Escaldes-Engordany, as a reference territory in the national music sector, is the parish that hosts the past, present and future of an international festival of this gender and size. 

The Festival, throughout its history, has become a reference event for lovers of this genre of music and has brought together the best performers of the moment, such as Modern Jazz Quartet, Fats Domino, Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, B.B. King, Chick Corea, Stan Getz and Diana Krall. 

This year we celebrate the 40th edition. During the eight days of the Festival, from July 4 to 11, we will have the privilege of having some of the best jazz musicians in the world, who will give us their talent and his passion on stage.
